Long time no blog, huh? I assure you I’ve been in the kitchen, but I’ve not had the time/energy to photograph and write any blog posts. Hopefully soon! Until then, here’s what we’ve been up to in the last couple months.
We had a great Christmas. Lots of time with family. We took Titus to Dollywood to see Santa and he was not a fan. Then, we rang in the New Year…asleep! Haha
Titus is growing so fast! Hard to believe he will soon be 21 months old.
We went on a short hike the day after Christmas and Titus, of course, LOVED it! Are you sensing a theme here? He loves everything outside!
Titus got a trampoline for Christmas and he LOVES it!
Titus loves helping me in the kitchen, so my dad made Titus this awesome learning tower! He used this pattern, and it turned out great. Titus loves it, and I don’t have to worry about him falling off the chair! It’s adjustable, so it will grow with him.
We went off-roading on MLK Day and it was sooo cold – like 20 degrees cold. We drove to the top of Skinner Mountain and built a fire, ate lunch, walked to the over look, and hauled a load of wood on the way down. It was fun…but also COLD ;).
Jason and I got a sitter and went on a much needed date night. Nothing crazy, just dinner and bowling. Have you been bowling lately? I’m terrible, but it’s fun.
We took Titus to Jump Jam this week, and it was really fun. He loves to run and jump =).
Jason and I got zoo passes for Christmas (Titus is free), and we made our first trip to Zoo Knoxville a couple weeks ago. The weather was perfect and Titus loved it! Can’t wait to go back!
I’ve been on a David Baldacci kick for the last couple months. I’ve read probably half of his books so far. And by read, I mean listened to the audio books…because toddler. I can listen while still having my eye on him lol. We have this bluetooth speaker, and it’s awesome! I even listen while I run on the treadmill.
Have you watched Jack Ryan on amazon video? Soooo good! I binged the first season. And by binged, I mean I watched 8 episodes in 3 weeks. That’s binging with a one year old…haha!
