Titus turned one on the 29th. I’m still not sure how that’s possible. Wasn’t he just born a few months ago?? Since it is has, in fact, been an entire year since he was born…we had a small party for him. He had no idea what was going on haha. Jason Titus wanted a racing themed party, and after a few hours on Pinterest I decided that could be cute. And I think it turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself! =)

I bought some checkered flag banner from Oriental Trading and it turned out super cute. You can’t really appreciate the metal checkered flag tins that are holding the balloons, but they were perfect. (Also from oriental trading)

We had wayyy too much dessert, per the usual ;).

I decided to make the cake myself so I kept it very simple – white cake with simple fondant decorations, a red candle, and some checkered flags!

I made some sugar cookies too – always a hit!

“stop light” brownies

Jason really wanted Titus to have a smash cake, so I went white cake with white frosting….because I didn’t want any stains. Good thing, because Titus really went for it!! haha

I was worried we wouldn’t have enough cake, so I made some cupcakes too. We had soooo much cake left!

We had pizza, chicken bites, fruit, a veggie tray, and popcorn for the “real food”. I printed off some cute labels to make the food a little more “race themed”.

I bought a red “1” balloon for the gift table and a fabric banner off Etsy.

“Coolant” 😉

Titus trying to hit the piñata….haha.

Thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate. Titus had a great birthday!
