It’s been a while y’all, but I’m back with a good recipe for you today! I’m a huge nut butter fan. Peanut butter, almond butter, cashew butter – I love them all! I saw an instagram story about pecan butter that immediately piqued my interest. I love pecans but pecan butter had never crossed my mind. Of course, I had to try it =). And guess what? It’s AMAZING! I toasted the pecans and then added just a dash of cinnamon, salt, and vanilla bean paste – so easy, so good! If you love nut butters give this one a try. Enjoy!

Cinnamon Vanilla Bean Pecan Butter

4 cups pecan halves
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp vanilla bean paste
~1/4 tsp coarse sea salt (or more to taste)

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place pecan halves on large baking sheet. Place in preheated oven and toast them until they are lightly brown, about 5 minutes.
3. Place toasted pecans in food processor. Process until smooth and creamy – how long this takes depends on your food processor – anywhere from 3-8 minutes.
4. Add cinnamon, vanilla bean, and salt. Process until combined. Place in jar and store at room temperature for about a month or in the fridge for 2-3 months.
