I almost titled this “The Easiest Grilled Shrimp EVER”! It’s seriously so easy, and I bet you even have all the ingredients on hand. Shrimp are a weeknight-dinner lifesaver anyway, since they cook in 5 minutes (or less!) but I come back to this recipe over and over again! (and obviously I love shrimp..see here, here, here, here, here, here, and here!) The ingredient list is unassuming, but something magical happens when it all comes together….promise ;). Magical enough that I would even make these for company!! And did I mention they are super healthy too? Yes. Yes, they are! Pretty much perfect =). Put these grilled shrimp on your dinner menu this week. You won’t be sorry! Enjoy!

Garlic and Herb Grilled Shrimp

1-1/2 to 2 lbs large (or extra large) shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
1 tbsp fresh lemon or lime juice
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
1 tsp dried basil
1 tbsp brown sugar (omit if Whole30 or use honey paleo)

1. Combine all ingredients except shrimp in large bowl and stir until combined. Add shrimp and toss until evenly coated. Cover and place in fridge for at least 20 minutes or up to 8 hours.
2. Drain shrimp and place on skewers (or use grill basket or indoor grill pan). Grill for 2-3 minutes per side or until pink and fully cooked. Serves 4.
