I waste spend way more time on Pinterest than I care to admit, mostly looking at recipes and photography stuff, but I don’t end up making many of the recipes that I pin. Why? I think I just pin it and forget it ;). Am I the only one that does this?? Occasionally though, I’ll see a recipe that sticks in my head. I pinned a recipe for Triscuit Pizza a few days ago and so when Jordan asked what we were having for lunch I quickly replied “triscuit pizza”. He was skeptical, but since it was pizza (one of his favorite foods) he was willing to give it a try. Turns out we both really liked it. The triscuits provided a nice crispy crust and you can top them with whatever you want. I made one with marinara sauce, cheese, and turkey pepperonis and another with barbeque sauce, pineapple, canadian bacon, american bacon, and cheese. Both were delicious. If you’re like me and struggle with lunch ideas, you should give this recipe a try. It’s quick, easy, delicious, and can be healthy depending on what toppings you go for. Enjoy!
Quick and Easy Triscuit Pizza
triscuits (I used original flavor reduced-fat but use any kind you like)
sauce (marinara, barbeque, etc)
toppings (pepperoni, olives, bacon, ham, pineapple, etc)
shredded mozzarella cheese
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.
2. Place triscuits on baking sheet with sides touching. Spread with sauce and top with desired toppings.
3. Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes (baking time may vary depending on how many triscuits you use, so watch closely) or until bottoms are slightly brown and cheese is melted.
