I’ve loved O’Charley’s Caramel Pie for as long as I can remember. A quick google search will lead you to copycat recipes made by boiling sweetened condensed milk (unopened) for 3 hours – I’ve made that version several times – and while it is very good, I don’t always want to wait 3+ hours for caramel pie =). Imagine my delight, when I found dulce de leche in my local grocery store! Caramel pie in 5 minutes = so dangerous! 😉 This “recipe” isn’t really much of a recipe, but you can make it as homemade as you want or you can take shortcuts (like I did). Either way, it’s delicious and tastes exactly like O’Charley’s. It’s the perfect dessert for those times when you need to whip up something fabulous in 5 minutes or less. And who doesn’t like caramel pie?? Enjoy!

Easy Caramel Pie
1 prepared graham cracker crust (store-bought or homemade)
2 cans (14 oz each) dulce de leche (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups lightly sweetened whipped cream (or cool-whip)
miniature chocolate chips
chopped pecans

1. Spoon dulce de leche into prepared crust. Top with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and pecans.
2. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight before serving.
