Chocolate gravy and biscuits…*sigh*…the breakfast of my youth haha. I remember back in the good ol’ days when it was the standard breakfast before church on Sunday mornings. Sadly, I only eat it now when I go home because somehow – and I’m still not sure how I let this happen – I wound up married to a man who doesn’t like chocolate gravy?!? Say what? Yeah, I’m pretty sure he waited to tell me until we were already married cause this might have been a deal breaker…not really ;). But sometimes I break down and make it anyway – just for me. It’s still baffling how someone could not like it though…I mean, it’s chocolate for breakfast =). Anyway, for those of you that may not know what chocolate gravy is – it’s sort of like a cross between chocolate pudding and chocolate syrup…sort of. Except that doesn’t really sound very good but trust me – it’s delicious! Enjoy!

Chocolate Gravy
2 cups milk
1/4 cup flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup sugar

Combine ingredients in thick-bottomed sauce pan over medium heat and whisk constantly until thickened, about 15 minutes. Serve over biscuits.
