Am I the only one that loved funfetti cupcakes (from a box mix) as a kid? I mean, funfetti cupcakes are just vanilla cake and frosting with sprinkles but somehow the sprinkles make all the difference =). So the other day when I was grocery shopping and spotted a funfetti cake mix, I thought it was a good time to try to make my own from scratch. I just used my favorite vanilla cupcake recipe and mixed in some sprinkles – a lot of sprinkles – and they were all I had hoped they would be lol ;). You’re never too old for sprinkles, so pile them on! They’d be perfect for a birthday party or just because you survived your surgery clerkship – woo hoo! Enjoy!
Funfetti Cupcakes
Use the recipe for these cupcakes and mix some sprinkles in the batter before baking and garnish the frosting with even more sprinkles. =)
